Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Service, whether as a guest viewer or an authenticated user, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Batuhan's Public Drive provides a web interface that connects to Google Drive storage, enabling users to explore public folders, view file metadata, and download or manage files depending on assigned permissions. The Service also interfaces with the open-source CDrive CLI ecosystem.

3. Authentication & User Accounts

To access privileged features (such as uploading or administrative file actions), you may be required to sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your session.

You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you may not:

• Upload, distribute, or link to files containing malware, viruses, trojans, spyware, or other harmful malicious software.
• Upload or share content that is illegal, defamatory, abusive, fraudulent, or violates any applicable intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Attempt to probe, scan, test the vulnerability of, or breach any system or network security measures.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the infrastructure, network bandwidth, or Google API quotas.
• Engage in automated scraping or bulk harvesting of data without explicit prior authorization.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

You retain all rights and ownership of any files and content you upload to or share through your Google Drive. We claim no intellectual property rights over the files processed through your account.

The software, design, logos, and code of Batuhan's Public Drive are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws and open-source licenses.

6. Third-Party Services & Google Drive

The Service depends on APIs provided by Google. Your use of Google services is also governed by Google's own Terms of Service. We are not liable for outages, quota constraints, API changes, or data policies enforced directly by Google.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, TIMELY, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT DOWNLOADED WILL BE FREE OF DEFECTS OR ACCESSIBLE AT ALL TIMES.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATORS, AUTHORS, OR MAINTAINERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE.

9. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, harms other users, or jeopardizes service security.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any revisions will take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those revisions.
